Yesterday I had the chance of visitng "Orientyorchids" an orchidgrower near Girona (a city close to the French-Spanish border) and of course I could'nt leave without buying anything. I hope you like it. It's my first Cattleya, so I don't know really much about them.

A quick tip for Cattleyas, they like to dry out FAST! I lost quite a few to over watering, it doesnt take much.

Beautiful flower ! This color just hits you ! I cant take my eyes off it. After the bloom I would repot it; the roots are just going crazy growing out of the pot...unless you want it hanging loose like that and hang it. Catts are not hard to care for...just read some posts from the other members on its culture.

I've drooled over this orchid for months so I think I'll have to buy one! Gorgeous.
