i love this one! I always wanted to buy it, but somehow never did...yours is spectacular!! love hausermanns, they are very thoughtful and pack well...they always sent me very nice plants!....I never tested them for viruses, but they all seemed very healthy and robust...never had color break or any symptoms on the leaves....very good plant, and good growing!

I think virus is present in any collection and when it is a large scale growing condition like hausermann, it is nearly impossible not to have something in the stock that are virused.
Older cattleya divisions are believed to be mostly virused because they didn't know better back then and they were cutting flowers for corsage and cutting plants for propagation, not knowing they were spreading virus like wild fire.
Some of the old clones are remade, but many are still divisions from the old days. mostly virused.
People still keep them for flowers as long as there are no ugly streaks showing up.

but let's not get into vendor or virus discussion on this thread and just enjoy the flowers this thread is about.

Lovely flowers! I like spicy scents like cloves.
