Bc. Ethyle my #1 favorite orchid !!!
(B. nodosa X C. citrina, 1979). She blooms an average of 3 times a year and is fragrant mostly at night ! First 2 pix are old. Third is recent and she has another single bud right now !

Wow. That's a flashy flower, but I never would have guessed Prosthechea citrina as a parent.

Yeh, me neither !! The only pix I've seen of citrina was NOT a pretty sight !!! Solid mustard yellow with a frilly lip. Thankfully only a nice yellow came through ! |

Under 6 - 4' T8 tubes (2750 lumens, 6500K) in a SE window. It's one of only a few I've found that LIKES AussieGold media so I don't use anything else except about an inch of AliFlor (leca) on the bottom !!
