Default C. Mrs. Mahler 'Mem Fred Tomkins' (C. bicolor x C. guttata)

I got this catt 2 years ago from Hausermanns as a NBS seedling, and has since flowered 3 times! The last flowering produced 5 flowers but due to travelling this summer some of the developing buds blasted from underwatering on the most recent one. It is going to be one tall plant in the next couple years! Every growth period adds 3 new pseudobulbs, and adds a few inches in height. But with its parentage, Im not surprised! It has a nice spicy/floral fragrance as well. The pics arent great, I took them with my blackberry because my camera is broken, and they dont look as nice on the computer as they do on the Bb.

I like the idea of the silk fabric as background for the blooms, you showcased it well

WOW!!! I know I have already posted, but I am REALLY liking this section of Cattleya, and if it wasn't for their GIANTNESS, I would so want to grow them to use them for breeding!

Beautiful! I love the tall spikes and the dark colors. Very pretty and obviously very well grown. Good job.
