Nicely done! I envy people who can grow theirs outside but I suppose there's problems with that way of growing too.

Pot. Burana Beauty
I, also, have one of those somewhere. I need to show it your picture to encourage it on to greater things. Gives me hope to see such a lovely plant and flowers.

Thanks. I don't know why my Burana grows so well, but I think she's just showing gratitude. I paid someone $5.00 for her a couple of years ago. She was a mature, but neglected plant at the time and in desperate need of a clean-up and repot. After some TLC she began growing like crazy.

Sure is a handsome looking Vanilla. A grower once told me that those plants loved to get their roots in the sandy Florida soil. He said they would grow like weeds.

Thank you. Potted in african violet mix, she's getting rather large. There's a good deal of weight there also, so it's a pain to bring her indoors and out during winter. She's double potted with river rock in the pot base to keep her sturdy. Some roots are over 24" long. No blooms yet, but maybe next year.

Absolutely gorgeous! Mine is still a few years away from blooming so your pictures were a treat indeed!
Thanks,
