Cattleya lueddemanniana coerulea
I love this species and its varieties. I think that it is one of those plants that is easier for a home grower than a greenhouse grower because of its liking of warmer temperatures. This one is also very compact: about 10 inches tall from the top of the pot.

Yes, but not as strong as the 'Arthur Chadwick' clone. It is strongest in the AM.

Those are really pretty. A wonderful species also, even though its preference for year-round warm temperatures have been what's kept me from getting a number of the varieties. The scent is good, yes?

Yes, the scent is good, but not as intense as 'Arthur Chadwick'. That clone smells intensely of a rose in the morning.
