Susanne ... wish I could lay claim to this beauty. Roy Tokunaga (H&R Orchids) brought it to Honolulu Judging Center where he gave a talk on nodosa and its hybrids. The big nodosa is the mother plant from which B. Little Stars (x cordata); Bc. Little Lulu (C. Lulu) and others are made. (BTW, 'Mom' had 800 flowers on her when this photo was taken)

Can you move this to cattleyas for more discussion? I'm curious about others' experiences growing nodosa and its hybrids. Thanks.

Wish I could lay claim to it .
I have found the nodosa hybrids to be great to grow and bloom I have a few that bloom on every new lead .. gin

I wonder how long it took to grow a specimen that size? My little nodosa is growing like crazy. New roots all over the place and 3 new growths. It's like it's on steriods!
