It's a bud. One of my cats spiked that way too. I was used to seeing my dens spike like that. Hope it's a beauty in bloom.

I have a Potinara that looks like that though not quite as far along. I bought it 3 years ago and this will be it's first rebloom for me. Any tips on not having the bud blast?
