C dowiana rosita type
Here is a photo of a typical C. dowiana, rosita form. Most bloom similar flowers, with a some variation of color intensity & some variation of shape. The rosita reference is just to distinguish this form of C dowiana as the reddish type rather than the yellow type. Both have a red lip.
They are fairly rare. We had not even seen one until we grew & bloomed a batch a few years ago (including the one in the photo).
The second photo is C dowiana, aurea form, for comparison.
