I really like the mini and smaller catts. The speckles got me with this one!

I have the same plant recently acquired from the Redlands Festival that just bloomed. It had 3 buds but 2 blasted and only 1 went to maturity. A) it lacks the full coloration up the lip as yours does, and B) it hardly has any spots.

Hopefully it will get better as it settles into my growing conditions.

Yours is gorgeous, btw..

Thanks. I picked it up at Odoms a couple of weeks ago, had one bloom and one bud. It was selected especially because of the dots, one of only two that they had that were blooming that showed them, the rest were solid, so not sure what the genetics involved with these are, I believe they were seedlings and not mericlones, but could be wrong.

Very nice. I got one from Odoms, too, but it hasn't bloomed yet. BTW, 'Rio' is a specific variety which has been cloned, so they should all be pertty much the same.

Not sure, but it may just be that mine came from Odoms as well. I know I bought a few `chids from them, but when I got home, looking 30 or more catts and I knew I had to pot, or repot right away, some of the tags got ditched because I use the ones with a hole in them.
