Default A Lonely First Bloom

This is the first and only bloom from my Bc. Maikai (C.bowringiana 'Luster' x B. nodosa 'Weaver'). Originally there were 3 buds but something made off with two of them just before they bloomed. There aren't many freckles on this cross.

Thank you. I found it ironic that the insect chose to eat buds from a first time bloomer.

On the bright side, at least it bloomed for you! I've never been able to get any of the Maikais to do so
