Default Sunset Valley Orchids delivery here! :)

My Sunset Valley Orchids order arrived this morning and I had a great time potting up all 14 catts. The Kiwi moss (posted about earlier) was a stunning success because I coulda potted up another ten 3 inch pots if I's had the plants - the moss was only part of the media mix. The condition of the plants themselves is just fabulous. Not a blemish on any of them; leaves plump, bulbs plump, roots spotless and bright. There was even a 'bonus' plant; one of the plants had seven bulbs but three of them were part of another plant with the roots all tangled up. The packer was obviously(?) very busy because it only took a minute to separate them so I got, in effect, an extra one. I first soaked the plants in water containing vit B1 and Superthive. There's only one major problem...where the hell do I put all of these plants? I still need room for the other 2,384,658,560 plants I would like?

The compost looks very unappealing but it is much better than it looks.

The aftermath...

You defientely need more space....LOL. They do however look very healthy. May I suggest a 3 or 4 tier rack?? I've got a couple of those in different sizes both for the orchids and the african violets and they work well.

Yes, all catts and, thankfully, I'm not allergic to THIS type of catt!

Thank you guys. When these little ones grow up I'm hoping my kitchen will swell accordingly, but don't hold out much hope lol.

What do the birds think of having so many catts around? They do look nice and healthy though - have fun

Da Nut (Peanut, the Caique) watched me for an hour from the kitchen curtain rail and the top of my kitchen wall units and never ventured near them. He found great joy and amusement climbing in and out of a steamer section of a pot. He was running around so fast inside the thing that at one stage I thought the centrifugal force was going to give him lift!
