Default My Typhoon Orchid

I am new to Orchid Board and found this forum to show off my newest addition to the collection. This little wonder is really lucky to have started blooming. I live in Okinawa Japan and we are now in Typhoon condition 1 Caution. I had to bring all my orchids indoors and with the severe temp. change I thought all the buds would be damaged but, they were stronger than I thought thanks

Very nice! Is it fragrant? I did some SCUBA diving in Okinawa back in 1965. The water clear and the reefs were beautiful.

Thanks everyone for your comments
2 more buds bloomed today with 3 more left it is not fragrant should it be? Mr. Tucker85 yes, Okinawa is still a paradise for diving I used to go all the time but, now days the priorities have changed with Grandchildren, orchids and all.

Tucker85,
After it fully bloomed it did have a mild fragrance barely noticeable. I put my hands around the bloom and checked slight but, nice. Thank you for the insight I would have never guessed.
