Cattleya mossiae 'Pauwela Passion' x self
Nothing like Little Frog's C. mossiae, but its my first!
Its paler than I expected it to be, but it just opened yesterday and is twice as blue today as it was yesterday.
Hope you like.

From what I'm learning, first blooms may not show it's true potential. It may have stronger colour as it matures.
It also looks to have a little flare in the petals/sepals.
As noted by others, wonderful lip. Good growing.

I love it. I think that the flowers will improve as the plant matures.

hello all,
As of today the bloom is cotton candy pink. I guess there goes the blue idea. Oh well, still gorgeous. I'll take more pics later.

Quite lovely!
C. mossiae is one of my favorite species.
