I find a lot of the plants that I receive bare root spend a good number of months just growing roots and re-establishing themselves. But that is almost a year now! They like very high light levels according to Baker's culture sheets and a fair bit of water while actively growing. Mine was bare root from Miranda orchids too, but he flew to Canada with them, so they weren't in transit too long and the roots looked pretty good. But I am still babying it at the moment.

Thanks for the post, when I got the plants they were perfectly healthy with roots ,mounted it on a heavy 18 inches thick piece of sopodila wood(treated) and grew it in full sun.
I fertilise regularly meaning once a week and I think plant has responded well.
