I think Ecuagenera is a reputable company and I haven't heard any complaints from our society members who purchased last Oct. I bought two masdevallias that never skipped a beat and my cordigera has just finally woken up and has a new growth and is getting roots on the previous growth. I think it's pretty hard on most of these orchids to ship them bare root and they sit in customs etc. etc. But for us in Canada, it is the only way to get some varieties as we don't have a lot of vendors.

Here is a Hybrid bred 25 years ago. Goes way back to Dowiana aurea. Even though many generations back Dowiana came through. It took a heat wave to flwer it . 24 years waiting.
