Default Sophronitis cernua

Hello all,

My most recent bloom from my Pluero grow room. Not a pleuro ofcourse but it grows with them.

This is the third blooming, three years in a row now.

Sophronitis cernua, doing its cernuum thing (drooping )

Nice! I've never seen 1 grown in a pot. I grow mine mounted in a terrarium and it blooms reliably for me around X-mas time. You say you grow it with pleuros - does it get the same light or is it in a brighter position?

Same light, but my Pleuros are getting lots of light.

Beautiful color!

I'm pretty sure there's one growing in a greenhouse at my university, but it never looks very good. I think it gets too much light. I know you said yours gets the same amount as your pleuros, but how much light is that, specifically?

This plant, during the winter gets 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. From now till Sept it will get no direct sunlight because the sun is to high in the sky to enter my window. All my pleuros are right next to this plant.
I also grew this plant under t5 lights (8 bulbs, i forget the specs).
