I purchased this plant earlier in the year. A seedling first flowering. I had to repot it and also divided it into 2 x 6 cane plants. One half of course had the flowers pictured here. The other half had a growth with sheath, see second pic.




This is that other half of the plant in flower now >>>>>

No, it was one entire plant when purchased, I had to break the rhizome when I divided it. Its probably 2 seedlings joined in the flask and have been grown on as such ever since. Its only when the 2nd ? second plant flowered that the difference or 2nd plant has been dicovered.
