I bought three orchids at Lowe's in January 2009 and they were in horrible shape. I placed them in OICU and they started to grow roots and new p-bulbs. Once they had grown enough roots I potted them in the smallest thing I could find, the cut off bottoms of plastic water bottles. I have since re-potted two of them. I lost one along the way and can't remember it, all the better I suppose

. The two that remain are doing better than I could have imagined

! They continue to grow roots, new p-bulbs and are getting stronger by the day. Now if only they would bloom for me. I can wait though, I have waited this long. I contribute the success of these plants to the wonderful people here on the OB

Now for the show. I have added some pictures from their sad days as struggling little orchids to show you how far they have come.
