Default Can mini catt (Otaara Hwa Yuan Bay) handle 5500 fc?

I divided my Otaara Hwa Yuan Bay a few months ago and just brought one of them to work. After 12 noon the light is at 5500 fc for a few hours. Can she handle this? Im thinking no, but thought I would ask.

(And yes, I realize I am going against my screen name )

I have a few catts that get about 5-6000 fc for a few hours during the summer days. About the only way to know for sure is to slowly acclimate the plant to brighter light. The leaves will probably turn a purplish color. Be very careful of sunburn, if the leaves are hot, it's getting too much sun.

I also have one of these orchids and it does well for me with much less light than that. Sounds like an awful lot to me!
