Oerstedella centradenium repotting question
I received a nice O. centradenium yesterday. It stands 17" tall in its pot. It is still blooming but will finish soon. It had 15 spikes.
My question concerns what to do with the numerous keikis it has formed. It looks like it puts up a spike, which blooms, the keikis form on it and then the old spike dies. The plant I got has keikis growing from keikis too. I know the usual practice is to remove the keikis when they have roots a few inches long. Some of this plant's keikis' roots are 8-10" long and I am not sure what to do with them.
I would prefer a specimen plant with all the new plantlets in the same pot but am also not sure as to what size to put all this in.
Any suggestions? Thanks
