Iwanagaara Appleblossom - this is the first bloom of several on a single spike!

Gorgeous! I bought one of these from H & R Nurseries last fall. No sign of blooms but I am hoping next year. Unless this blooms more than once a year! Yours is lovely.

Beautiful!

I recently got one of these as an extra surprise---and I am SO excited to see this guy bloom! It already bloomed this year and the spikes were cut, so I'll have to wait until next year. But it has 4 bulbs (only 1 of which bloomed this year), with TWO brand new ones poking up behind the biggest bulb.

This is my first growing season with orchids, and this guy is the first to show active growth this year. I'm glad to know he likes how I'm caring for him!

Pretty! I think that this is one of my favorite Catts, even though I don't actually own any.

That is a lovely example of this flower type. the subtle colours are great.

Thanks to our wonderful botanist friends and Kew, you get to change the tag on your plant. it is no longer Iwanagaara but is now Jackfowlieara Appleblossom. Of course knowing these crazy botanists, it'll be named something else tomorrow so perhaps leaving the tag alone is a better option :-)

Have a great day!!!

Lovely! This is probably my favorite fragrance in the world...besides freshly cut grass

I'm waiting for mine to bloom right now, 2 spikes are about ready to start opening and a third is a bit behind them...the show...and smell...should be around for a while
