Default repotting question

Hi all, I got a Cattleya in bloom and now flowering. (smells Divine) The roots look a bit crowed, do I repot now or wait till the flower dies off?

Dave,

I don't find that catts mind being pot bound at all, they just keep growing no matter what - Very tough roots. With my catts most of the roots are outside of the pots, part of their habit I think.
If this was my orchid, I would wait til the show is over.
Beautiful blooms ~ Enjoy!

Hi Dave
Doesn't look like she's crying out for help...I'd leave her where she is

That looks gorgeous! I also don't think you need to change a thing. If anything, wait till she starts growing again.

hi . Normally we grow them out side our homes . We never pot them .Roots are out side and growing happily .
I think its better to keep them open . .. One of my friends
growing them on a jak tree. root are barely contacted with any thing .they just run here and there. We attach them to a tree by a wire on one or two places.
I think /guess that Dave's formula is charcoal only. We are advise to use that too.
