Hi,
I Burned an L. anceps leaf at the beginning of last summer. In my case the leaf had a large spot that was actually dried and whitish. The spot turned black over the next few days. I ended up cutting the leaf off because I was worried about infection, and just could not bear looking at my mistake everyday.
If your leaves are purple they may not be dead, just badly tanned. All you can really do is adjust your light levels, watch and wait. I have several 'purple' pbulbs, but it does not seem to bother the plant. Unfortunately with only two bulbs, there is not much room for loosing a leaf or two.
Best of luck,
Stephen
