Large Cattleya Hybrid in Bloom
These are the latest blooms from 'Big Momma', the largest cattleya in my collection. She's a noid, but I do recall that part of her cross is George King 'Serendipity'. Her leaf span is over 32". This winter it was difficult maneuvering her through doorways when I brought her in from the cold. She's getting heavy too.
One photo includes a soft drink can for size comparison. Most of her blooms are not yet fully opened.

Beautiful! I love the soft peachy-pink colors! Those flowers look pretty good sized compared to the soda can!

Thank you Becca. The colors become more intense as the flowers mature.

Awesome! It's great to see her doing her thing again this year. I always look forward to this post. I love the color. You'll have to update the thread when she's in full bloom.

Well I don't 'talk' much on this forum but I really must with this plant. It's a stunner, congratulations.
