Both are beautiful. I have C. amethystoglossa but it hasn't bloomed for me yet. I hope it's as pretty as your's.

Very pretty! Do you see a difference compared to normal - not tetraploid plant? Does it show better qualities in a flower or growth overall. Thanks!

Usually they have a heavier bloom texture so I have been told not sure about the rest of it ..

Great looking flowers, Gin. I'm a big fan of C. amethystoglossa (even if the plants do end up taking up quite a bit of space once they reach adulthood and can be temperamental about being repotted). Do you have more than the 4n plant? The reason I ask is because I have three plants of this species; two are 4n plants (supposedly) and the third is a standard 2n plant. I can't really see any differences in the blooms each year, so I'm curious to learn whether or not you've seen differences yourself. Congrats on the flowers. They're outstanding.
