Great looking head of blooms, Mauro. One of my two favorite cattleya species (along with its Brazilian cousin, C. amethystoglossa). Can almost smell the fantastic fragrance from here. Good growing.

That's a very impressive, and pretty, ball of blooms! Does this species always do that, or is it specific to the variety you have?

No, Camille, not all plants of the species do that ! Some will always give no more than two or three flowers, some others the crown you see in the photo!
