well at least one of them has turned out to be ....it sunfolded a bit now ...just surprised that ever new lead has suddenly decided to become bifoliate ...and not quite sure all are leaves yet but I am leaning that direction too at the moment

Was it the one on the left at unfolded a bit?

It was .....lol but I expecting the rest to do the same now.If I take a good flashlight and shine through the growth I can see one side of the growth is a little higher than the other ..which leaves always have one side a little higher than the other and you can see the difference with better light.

I am still stumped as to why it has decided to suddenly make so many bifoliate leads after 15 months of unifoliate growths...maybe a temperature difference triggered it ?Or even the fact that I reset the timers for the lights to longer days?

I am still convinced that the one on the right is a sheath. Something about the arc at the top of it that is saying sheath to me.

well so far each and every one is a second leaf.....I will have to pay attention to temperatures more.I have a feeling temps may be part of the cause for the sudden surge of bifoliate growths after a year and 1/2 of none ever.I have several other Catt types with bifoliate parentage in the background that have also made the most recent leads as bifoliate growths.
