Default Ok I am not quite sure yet ....but lol hoping its sheaths

Ok bought This one 1 year and 5 months ago as a 2 to 3 year from bloom plant in a 2 inch pot in August of 2009....

IT is Mary Ellen Carter 'Dixie Hummingbird' and a late winter eary spring bloomer .....I played with light cycles last winter in the hopes I could by going from short days in December to long days for a month and then back to short days untill spring perhaps fool the plant into going through a years cycle in one winter and shorten the two to three years into 2 at most ....

Well 1 year and 5 months later I have what I hope is sheaths. So far every new lead has either a sheath or if im mistaken a second leaf. I am thinking they are sheaths since while it can make bifoliate growths it has only had one that was bifoliate and that was when I bought it.It has never made a bifoliate growth since and now every new growth is showing lol either a sheath or a second leaf .....

Opinions everyone ...what do you think I have ?Oh by the way it has 10 new leads and 3 so far are showing this....
