That's just crazy to pay that kind of money for that specific plant. I sure shope everyone is happy..the seller sure is!

and for the fine print....

"Virus policy- I have not seen any signs of virus on this plant as long as I have had it. If the winning bidder gets the plant tested, and it turns out positive (which I highly doubt...) I will refund the opening bid price."

The optimum words are....."refund the opening bid price" which was $50.00

It may not necessarily be an actual division of awarded though.

I think it is beautiful! I guess if I had cash to waste I might spend it....on a healthy orchid...but not necessarily would I spend that much!

I was told last night I could get a mature plant for less than $100. I told them to get it for me.

That sounds about right. SBOE has it listed starting at $100.00.
