Cattleya lueddemanniana
Two blooms this morning, I have yet to detect a scent. Hope it will develop a scent to match its beauty.

Give it a couple of days. Most Cattleyas do take a couple of days to fully open, develope color and scent. Hope you will post a pic or two....

Love the purple. I think mine is on the lighter shade of that (hasn't bloomed yet). What's going on with the sepals? The dorsal looks a lil burnt on top, and lowers are missing??

Sepals are there, they are dropping some, they don't seem to want to flatten out. First blooms so I'll give it a couple of days. I checked the second bloom which was in same sheath its doing the same. Fragrance is full trottle now, wonderful scent.

Lovely colors. First blooms can be a bit odd, but it should be fine next time.
