Epi. vesicatum is a very interesting plant with its stems growing downwards. The flowers face down and remain hiden by the last pair of leaves. It is native of the humid forests of the south-eastern Brazil.
The second species is a plant lacking the purple pigment, a species that can became as tall as 2-3.5 feet (70cm - 120 cm), the flowers are of very hard substance, as if they were plastic shaped.
Nice Epis! Without looking at the blooms I would have never believed that the first one was an orchid. It's got an interesting shape, and it looks a bit like a clump of seaweed.
