Default Encyclia polybulbon in bloom

I took this picture this morning, got tired of waiting for it to open fully. I re-read some culture notes and I don't think it's been getting enough sun. Also we have had a really cool spring. There is another bud that is maturing a lot faster so maybe that one will open all the way. Any how I just wanted to brag since this is the first time it's bloomed for me.

Very cute!

I got one bloom on mine last year but there are 4 new growths coming up now so I'm expecting a bigger show

Now that you've gotten yours to bloom...it just gets better from here on out

I really like this little plant. It's got such cute little bulbs and such a pretty flower. I also noticed that the next spike is really maturing fast. I've got a lot of new bulbs starting so next year when it blooms it should really put on a show.
