What bothers me about these photos is the first image shows an apparently healthy growth with a bud sheath that may be blasting. The others show signs of rot in the base of that growth. Am I wrong? Am I not seeing these correctly? Just curious. Because I have never had a Cat in sheath send out new growths (could be me, cause I don't do well on Dendros either).

I have a new growth on one of my catt's (blc) sheaths, also.
That's not rot! ..It's just dried up old leaves ..
Those photos are a bit darker also.
Oh Ross, Ross, Ross! .. shaking my head ..
