Quick Catt. Chocolate Drop question!

Hi All!

I am getting ready to put my C. Chocolate Drop into a larger pot. With Cattleya guttata as a parent, I was wondering how tall this plant will become once it has really matured? It has already bloomed once, and I LOVE it... I'm just curious as to what to expect- I am wondering if will grow into a 3' monster?

Sorry I can't help Elliot, I know others here have Chocolate Drop though so hopefully someone will be along soon who knows the answer.

My 'Volcano Queen' is about a foot tall, and that seems to be as tall as it's going to get. I understand that 'Kodoma' gets taller. Not sure how much though.

I grow 'Kodoma' and it's newest growths are around 12"-14" tall. It's probably not grown to its potential, though.

'Kodama' measures 20" from top of pot to top of leaves. Very mature plant.

Is that Magic of Mishima "volcano queen"? I have one and wondered how big it can get. It started as a couple year old in a 2" pot from SBOE here in Cal. It has bloomed once for me and lasted about 3 weeks. I can't wait to see it at it's full potential.
