Nice smaller species.

I really love the fragrance of so many of the Encyclias. I can't vouch for this one, but the ones that are fragrant tend to be vanilla and spice...

This actually looks more like bractescens, bracteata is more greenish w/ wider tepals, I think.
Nice pictures, Duane! Can you post some general shots of the nursery set-up and surroundings? I loved seeing that giant bench full of phrags you put in the one post.

There aren't any tags on them in the wild. I love the naming and renaming, but at the end of the day, they are what they are.
Of course, I want the names to be as correct as possible. There's a guy helping out with some of the Pleurothallids on Flickr. I'm deeply grateful!

Thanks for the encouragement and the reminder, Nat. I have taken some, but not nearly enough. The Guayaquil nursery was very very big. The Gualaceo nursery is huge; more like a small village. It's on a hill, so all the greenhouses are on different levels. It's a beautiful place. I hope you get the chance to visit! (I'm already thinking about my next trip...)
