This is a tall plant for sure, though it doesn't occupy much horizontal room, and mostly because of this it finds restrictions in the collections. Despite of this, if you have space, this is a wanderful species for its strongly fragrant, waxy flowers which, each time more, presents new varieties and forms. Here are some of them, blooming out this season in my shade house:
Without spots and with a beautiful pink lip
Peloric form, with amazing shocking pink lip and petals:
Var. flammea, with dark floral segments:
Two Var. alba, the second an example of a much yellower flower (both had 5 days when the shot was taken)
Var. xanthina, a beautiful yellow clone
Tipo, var. lisa (without spots) and forma peloric venosa.
