It is my new purchase. Slc. Kagaribi Dawn is well known for its color. Hope it do well in my garden.

This is not a Slc. is just a cattleya, it's parents are Cattleya Kagaribi x Cattleya Tropic Dawn registered in 1987 by Sagami. So this makes it Cattleya Kagaribi Dawn, info from the RHS. site.

Warren, I think this was a pretty simple mistake. Many people post incorrect names, myself included. This is very easy to do with all the constant name changes. I don't think it's necessary to be so critical.

Personally, I have gotten so sick of all the name changes that I'm sticking with the old names. Once the taxonomists finally make up their bloody minds and the dust clears, I'll consider changing my tags.
