Hello,

a certain Czech shop sells Encyclia bractectens. I never heard such a species exists, is the name wrong? I am aware of only Encyclia bractecens...

Do you think they have just the name wrong?

Thanks

The blossom in my avatar is E. bractescens, a particularly nice, very red cultivar that was lost due to a delivery miscalculation on the part of a former propane provider.

Wow. that realllly makes me want a bractescens, but I'm not sure that I have the room right now! I think I have to temporarily stop buying orchids. And i'm not even at 50 yet.
