Very pretty! There have been a lot of pictures of this orchid posted recently. Mine is still in bloom after about three or four weeks. Some of these seem to have more red and some have more yellow. To me it looks like something painted by an artist. Unusual but beautiful colors.

Yes, you can cut the spike. I don't know if the leaf tips browning are something to be concerned about or not - can you post a pic?
