San Damiano "Halona"
A Potinara of a nice size has produced two blooms with another sheath waiting. This is the third day the flowers have been open and it has developed a wonderful sweet fragance. I'm thrilled with the color and blooms as I bought this one after seeing a picture.

Like plush red velvet! This is a real stunner. May I ask where you purchased this orchid? There is a gentlemen here in New Mexico Who raises And hybridizes orchids under San Damiano Orchids and I was wondering if this plant was one of his creations.

Ooh really like that. 'Plush Red Velvet' is a good description.

Hi Alsorchids, I'm not sure, I bought this one from a private grower. Who sells a lot on E-Bay. He was kind enough to sell me an orchid he said was a must have for my newbie collection. He showed me a picture. This may have been a trade or something because he sells a lot of flasks. I'mn happy to be the current owner.

My first orchid was a gift and it's a nice pale pink. After that it seems that everything I added was a pale color. Now every time I see a red or dark chocolate I just drool. I'd love to add a Chocolate Drop 'Kodama' and now after seeing your beauty I am going to have to give up adding the pale and go with the bold. The Ft. Lauderdale show is right around the corner and I will have to show some control not to fulfill the entire wish list. CTB, you just made it harder to be good!!
