just noticed a yesterday one of my shealths is starting to open!! yay! earlier then last time but what a great suprise! we will have flowers soon! oh and its a Blc. Irene Holquin 'Brown Eyes' AM/ AOS!

I did once have an orchid go from sheath to buds to blooms very quickly (an epi-catt) but subsequent bloomings on that one, as well as other Catt alliance plants, have taken some time for the buds to get big ...
hopefully yours won't be too long

that one is the only one opening and the other ones arent there yet. i moved it tho out of direct sunlight so once it does the blooms will last longer!

lol yours must grow fast.....mine have taken at least a month from emerging out of the sheath to big buds and I am still waiting for them to open......

Any ways its is always nice to get to the point you see actual buds and do not have to worry so much about them blasting or just failing suddenly ......good job
