This just opened for me today it is a laelia anceps var. Mendenhall .

what do you mean the size is a medium size plant and the spike is 2 and 1/2 to 3 foot long ,But well worth it. Anceps by far are my favorite laelias you can never have to many.

Yes, anceps is a wonderful plant with many color forms available. I am refering to lateral petal tip to lateral petal tip measurement.

Yes you are right Tom i should have just said Laelia anceps mendenhall , Mendenhall being the awarded name and aren't all mendenhall a clone of Irwin that carter and holmes made , Thats whay you have the mendenhall awarded name on alot of stuff.
