Default too cool a new sheath discovered this morning

I bought a slc "Bu Lady" this spring at the Mo bot gardens. She was in bloom at the time and the blooms lasted several weeks fo me.a tiny bit of scent ocassionaly so hope more when freshly opened...

Unfortunatly It lost all its rrots but one and I was worried it was going to fail as it had two new leads growing and with one poor root left did not realy give me much hope for keeping it going ....very hot and dry summer and one poor root?

Well she has just kept growing and finaly a couple of weeks ago I see a new root emerge and head into the hydrotron and I am all excited because now maybe she is going to realy get a chance to survive....

All this time she has kept the new leads growing ...not as big as old growths but not too small realy for living on one small root and three new leads to support .
Well while doing the usual flush since she is in s/h I notice she grew new roots along the old rhizome farther down in the Hydrotron ...not what I had expected but must be what has been keeping her going better than was expected and ...lol today I see a new sheath emerging from the largest new lead ....

Wow what a tough orchid ....one root for a couple of months ....desert dry outside and in the 100s temp wise, supporting three new growths and just keeps going and now looks like she will bloom ...how good can it get?
