Well, I've only been growing orchids for 3 years. In the beginning I didn't really know what I was doing. lol I lost quite a few in the beginning. I think this was one that was barely hanging on and once I finally got the hang of it, it began to thrive. It now has two more buds that should be opening soon and the plant has grown to about 20 pseudobulbs - it has a very nice compact growing habit, though.
