The more I see of these, the more interested I am in getting one. How do you grow yours, it's beautiful.

Ours are growing happily in 60-70F temps with medium light and medium humidity. They're one of the easier orchids for us here in Seattle.

Happy growing!

I have one of these that really took off this year outdoors in a spot that got 2-3 hours of early morning sun and was shaded by the house the rest of the day.I gave it lots of water and fertilizer. It is overflowing the pot with at least two leads maybe three. How is the best way to divide this?

Thanks

Very Nice! Mine is about to bloom for me for the first time. I was given a small division about 4 months ago. It consisted of three leafless old p-bulbs, and one new lead. It now has added two more leads and all three are throwing out inflorescences.

I also have a Green Hornet from Rueben's Orchids that was purchased a year ago with about 15 leads. It now has about 100, I kid not. I just replanted it into a larger teak basket and might not get blooms this go around, but it may surprise me.

I hope this isn't too big...

This is my Green Hornet

You can see my Prosthechea Cochleata just behind it on the right.

[EDIT]

Here is when the Green Hornet was in bloom last july...
