Lc. Bonanza is one of the early cattleyas that are still grown and appear in orchid shows.
I purchased this one from a friend. Hope the plant do well in my garden.

Thanks. Here is the photo of another old cattleya,
Blc. Dark Waters, which also blooms recently. The blooms are very perfumed.

That's very pretty. You can never have too many lavender Catts as far as I'm concerned. I have an LC Bonanza Queen. I assume that's a slightly different cross although it looks very similar.

I have Bonanza Queen as well. It always blooms in spring.
Lc. Bonanza has been a good parent to create new cattleyas and nowadays, many lavender cattleyas are related to it.

Both really nice. Wonderful colour, nothing wrong with old hybrids when they stand the test of time like those two.

Two very nice Catts pheli. The Bonanza has an interesting lip for one of those, more like a Blc that an Lc.
