Default Encyclia gallopavina

This Encyclia is quite uncommon in collections, and it has a beautiful color; the name "gallopavina" refers to 'peacock'. It is lightly perfumed.

I love Encyclias and this one is beautiful. The shape of the petals reminds me of the megalantha and the lip reminds me of the tampensis.

Thanks for sharing it!

Shann~

Nice orchid. I've just recently become interested in Encyclias. They really grow well hare in Florida. Enjoy!
