C. guatemalensis CANADA!
Hi,
Because I lost some recent PMs, I'm hoping that the person who sent me a question regarding C. guatemalensis is reading this and will contact me via Private message.
The person was from Eastern Canada, N.B or N.S. I think!
Helen
p.s. it would be REALLY nice if we were able to search members by Country/Province/State....

Marcelo,
Thanks for sharing that lovely photo...here is mine that bloomed last July 2010. It can't compare to the one from Montreal, but of course mine is not a specimen plant.

Hi Helen, btw, if you ever need to search members with more details parameters....
1.) Click on Members at the top of the OB screen.
2.) Then click on Search Members, just under the alphabetical list for members names.
3.) Then select Advanced Search. You will be able to search by location or country flag, amoung other choices.

I would be good to be in contact with Canadians more. They can give advise on where to buy plants. Canada has so few choices of places to buy orchids from, that I bought one on ebay from a seller in France. I don't know if it will make it here, but it's worth a try.

Was it sent already? If not, I would ask seller to hold the shipping for a while until this Canada post strike business will sort itself out.
They say mail will not be delivered during strike.

I'm sure you've heard of Cloud's Orchids in Ontario...they ship worldwide and are very reputable!
