Default Encyclia gallopavina & Epidendrum campestre

Not often seen in collections, this is a small plant of ocher, fragrant flowers native of the Brazilian Central Plateau. Leaves and bulbs have a wine-like pigmentation.

Epidendrum campestre is a nice Brazilian rupicolous. The plant is small (about 5-6" tall), with enlarged bulbs at the base and several leaves.

I really like it when you introduce me to new species. Thanks Mauro!

I've never seen that particular encyclia before. I like not just the color of the blooms, but also the color of the foliage.

Both are really gorgeous, I especially like the substance of the Encyclia gallopavina though.
